About Al
I have a master's degree in Special Education. I have a bachelor's degree in Business Education. My minor study throughout college was Theater Arts. I am the creator and founder of Bullies Be Gone Project. (BBGP) Our BBGP curriculum is for grades 4-12, and adults. (concealed information)

My teaching method is to teach to the needs of the individual student according to the goals on the most recent IEP and other academic and social revelations discovered in the tutoring process. My experience, emphasis on a holistic approach to teaching special education, and my passion to create a positive transformation, academically and socially with students set me apart from other tutors. I prefer to tutor Secondary students, but I will tutor 4th and 5th graders too. Whatever level the student is currently performing in is the level I will begin tutoring. I want students to experience some form of immediate academic success before I introduce more difficult subject matter. I seek to make the learning experience for the student enjoyable, successful, inspiring, motivational, and with consistent positive reinforcement.
