About Navy
I love teaching and I want to share my culture and my Cambodian languages with other people. I also want peoples around the world knows Cambodia and my lovely Khmer language. There are many things in Cambodia that some people from overseas don’t know. Such as Khmer culture, language foods, customs, and natural resources.

"My lesson is designed for anyone who wants to learn the basics of Khmer or wants to improve conversational I also can help. I always readily prepared Course books from beginner to Intermediate levels. And if requested I most likely be able to prepare the lesson according to the student's needs. I let them know the topics that we going to study in the upcoming weeks and I give them an order in which we are going to study them, so make them easy. Moreover, I give them a series of interesting lessons and students will enjoy my lesson. We will hold our lesson on Zoom, and Skype and I will send you a video-recorded version after each lesson to you. Before I start teaching a new lesson I always review the previous lesson that we just learned. And if you would like I also have experience teaching writing and reading. For my work material, a PDF book from Khmer lessons written by Hok Srey mom and Hok Dara. After between 20 to 30 lessons of learning, students will be able to: - Recognize the Khmer Alphabet and Vowels -Do a self-introduction in Khmer _Talk about their family _count from 1-1000,000 _Make Simple Sentences. _ Bargain the price in Khmer _Talk with Cambodian local people.

Navy is a very intuitive, patient and knowledgeable Khmer teacher. A native Khmer living in Australia, she bridges the Oz/Khmer language barrier with ease. She tailors her lessons to suit your level of understanding. Great working with her, I learn so much
I took lessons with Navy for several months before I traveled to Cambodia. She focused on showing me how the language is formed rather than just memorizing. I decided to try and learn the Khmer alphabet and Navy was very patient. I mostly learned by having simple conversations, which Navy supplemented by using other audio and written materials. Now I’m able to understand and speak enough Khmer to have conversations with people in Cambodia. I highly recommend Navy if you really want to learn Khmer.
