About Annan
Hi :) I'm Annan, an architecture graduate from University of Cambridge. As a native Chinese speaker, I have a deep-rooted love for the rich cultural tapestry and unique worldview this language represents.
My academic journey in architecture focuses on posthumanism and more-than-human agency, based on a non-eurocentric worldview and traditional Chinese and Japanese philosophy. It has given me a unique perspective on the intersection of language, culture, and design.
In our course, I'm excited to share more than just the language; I'll take you on a journey through the enchanting world of ancient Chinese philosophy, mythology, and art. These elements are not only close to my heart but are also pivotal in understanding the broader context of the Chinese language. I look forward to exploring these fascinating topics with you and uncovering the hidden gems of Chinese culture together.
