About Anandi
I am a recent high school graduate who's starting a degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences in the Netherlands this year. I also received awards for being the top student in A-level Business Studies and Psychology in South Africa. I was homeschooled my whole life, so I aspire to teach students not only the syllabus but also how to revise and recall effectively so they can study alone without doing so inefficiently.
Although I am a South African, I was born and raised in India for a large part of my life. This year, I will be shifting countries for the third time! I also enjoy running, reading and singing. I'm passionate about Psychology in particular as I love learning about all the ways our brains work.

My teaching method focuses on regular testing and recall of the material and working through the material section by section to ensure the student finishes in time for their exams. I prioritize understanding over memorization, so a lot of the classes will focus on clearing up any doubts chapter by chapter and answering short quizzes to strengthen and aid recall.
I also believe application is a vital part of learning, so I believe that giving context to a lesson, such as using a real-life example of when the theory applies is an easy way to improve a learner's understanding.
In preparing for a Cambridge exam, nothing helps more than going through past papers and understanding what Cambridge requires from students, so a large part of the tutoring will consist of going over the written past papers and how they can be improved upon because if you cannot apply the information you have learned in your syllabus in the exam, your marks will be average at best.
Don't worry though! Understanding what the exam entails just takes practice and I will help in correcting and guiding each student.
