About Rhona
I received my history education at the University of Cambridge, and if there's anything I enjoy, it's spreading my appreciation for the subject! That was why I studied for my Qualified Teacher Standard and Postgraduate Certificate in Education. As I spent my secondary school days in Edinburgh, I understand what the SQA tends to look for (and the struggles involved in attaining that). I studied teaching and taught chiefly in England, so I am also very aware of requirements for AQA and Edexcel.

It's important to strike a balance between maintaining interest and attacking the difficult parts. Thankfully, history is the kind of subject that lends itself well to both 'solid fact' method and a more creative leaning. I like to discover the ideal method for the individual and find a way to teach in line with their needs.
