About Madeleine
I am a graduate with a first class degree in History and a distinction in the MPhil in Modern European History from the University of Cambridge. I have over five years of tutoring experience, and I am offering tuition in History, English, Religious Studies and Oxbridge admissions, as well as general personal statements.
I offer tuition both online and in person. I have previous experience tutoring Oxbridge admissions, which led to two offers, and tutoring English and History A level and GCSE, with all students receiving A* and A grades following my help. I also have advanced experience helping students prepare for the 11+ and 13+, and I have honed my skills in this area to the extent that every single one of my students has achieved an offer from their preferred school! I have also helped several RS A level students to bump up their grades, and one of these students even said my teaching prompted her decision to apply for a Theology degree at Oxford! I’m passionate about helping my students perform to the best of their abilities and exceed expectations. I also offer essay assistance.
I’m also happy to proofread/correct personal statements and mark any essays - just book an online session and email me the work and we can go from there.
