Ray is a very patient but thorough teacher (having taught maths at both GCSE and AS level at Henley College). A distinguished Cambridge academic record (TRC Fox Prize winner) does not stop him from having an approachable manner with a sense of fun. Being a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, with very wide industrial experience, enables him to relate maths topics to their use at work as well as in advanced academic areas.
