About Rodgerick
Hello! My name is Rodgerick. I am a language tutor offering tuition Spanish and Italian. I graduated in Modern and Medieval Languages from the University of Cambridge, where I studied with particular focus on the linguistic development of the Romance Languages - the nuts and bolts of how the languages actually work.
As part of my studies, I spent a year living and working in Italy, where I taught language classes to students of all levels and ages. During my time there, I gained valuable experience in teaching practical communication skills and using immersive techniques to help students achieve fluency in both languages.
I believe in tailoring my teaching methods to each individual student's needs and interests, whether they prefer a grammar-focused approach or a more communicative one. My lessons are designed to be engaging, effective, and enjoyable, using a variety of materials such as textbooks, articles, music, videos, and conversation practice.
As a language enthusiast and polyglot, I understand the value of language learning in our globalized world, and I am committed to helping my students achieve their language goals. Whether you are a beginner looking to get started or an advanced learner seeking to improve your skills, I am here to help. So, if you're ready to embark on your language learning journey, let's get started!

I encourage questions and feedback: there is no such thing as a stupid question.
I provide regular feedback and evaluation to help students understand their strengths and weaknesses in order to improve.
