About Megan
I have a BA (Hons) in English With Creative Writing from Falmouth University for which I achieved a First. I specialised in theatrical critical theory and playwriting, but undertook a broad programme of study across genre and time period, from Old English to contemporary texts. In October I will be undertaking an MSt at the University of Cambridge. I began tutoring this year, and have since taught a range of abilities and age groups. I love reading, films, museums, and occasionally wild swimming, which I discovered a love for while living by the sea in Cornwall.

My approach to teaching is very flexible: we can identify the areas you would like to strengthen and work collaboratively to create lesson plans which suits your style of learning. I always encourage students to shape the direction of our lessons according to their goals, and what would make them feel most productive. One thing especially important to me is your confidence and wellbeing. My lessons will be supportive, not designed to cause you additional pressure- we decide whether to set homework tasks together. Students of any level may come to me for English literature or creative writing sessions.
