About Robin
I'm a recent graduate from the University of Cambridge. I've loved learning languages since as long as I can remember — I picked up Spanish in school and started German at university! I also have extensive experience in pastoral support roles, including 2 years in various student welfare roles and several years of leading activities and sessions with youth groups.
I know that language learning is more effective and enjoyable when students have the chance to ask questions and explore what interests them, from the cultural side of things (e.g. film, music, books, even Netflix series) to the linguistic side of things (e.g. why Argentinians speak differently to Chileans, and how to remember the telltale characteristics).

I like to tailor my teaching methods and content to each learner's needs and interests, making sure to cover vocabulary, grammar, style and regional variation in an accessible way and advising learners on resources they can use outside of the sessions.
I am happy to teach beginners, GCSE, A-Level and equivalent to learners of all ages. Sessions are typically 30 mins to 1 hour, but I am open to run longer sessions if requested.

- BA (Hons) in Modern and Medieval Languages (Spanish & German): First class
