About Yasmin
I am a second year student at the University of Cambridge, studying history. I did Maths, Spanish and History A Level, and Chemistry AS Level, and achieved all A* Grades at GCSE.
I absolutely love teaching and spending time with children. I volunteered for 2 years as a teaching assistant at Springfield's, a school for children with severe learning difficulties. I also taught English and Maths to secondary school students in Nepal for 5 weeks this summer (2018). I derive a lot of joy from seeing a child engage passionately with what they are learning, and am really excited to begin tutoring!

I am a great believer in the fact that children will only ever effectively learn if they are enjoying what they are studying. With this in mind, I use a wide range of exciting teaching methods, introducing interactive games and an element of competition wherever possible. In the past, I have usually taught to large groups of children, but I would love the opportunity to focus on the development and learning of one child.
