-What are lessons like?
Lessons are tailored towards each student. A few of the common things they can be comprised of are:
-Taught element (Going through covering a particular topic)
-Problems/worksheets (Going through past exam questions)
-Student questions (Going through questions/problems students may have from school/ self study)
- How much do you charge?
My charges are usually around £35 per hour
but may vary depending on the time of the year you require my services along with time/travel costs. I believe this to be excellent value for money. I guarantee your child will get their school's predicted grade (at least if not more). If you are aiming higher (which I presume you would be) then I can customize the tutoring program according to your child's needs. I will discuss this at the very beginning of the lesson and I keep you informed of their progress every half term at the least.
Tutoring is a customized service run per student. No two students are the same. Hence the amount of lesson planning and resource preparation for every student is different and my charges will vary accordingly. Please understand that I am not here to sell Homework books or revision guides or practice CDs/DVDs. I carefully plan lessons and prepare answers to questions which students have failed to get into their school environment or from their teacher
