My lessons are designed to be stimulating, fun and individually tailored for the student. I guide students through topics they struggled with at school or areas they are particularly interested in, aiming to expand beyond the syllabus to allow students to gain a fuller appreciation of the subject. I also assist students with homework, essays and presentations. For students due to take their GCSE or A level examinations I provide guidance on revision and exam technique. I may set written work, reading or additional materials for students to work on outside of class to boost their progress if they are interested.
I also provide UK university admissions tuition for older students, especially for Cambridge Biological Natural Sciences application. I provide support in choosing universities or Cambridge Colleges, navigating UCAS and guide students in writing their personal statement. For Cambridge applications I also tutor students for the NSAA and interview. I can offer biology enrichment sessions for applicants interested in exploring topics beyond the biology syllabus, which is important for applications to competitive universities. If you are interested in enrichment sessions I recommend starting at least 3 months before the application deadline.
