About Alwaleed
I studied mathematics and additional mathematics at GCSE and FSMQ level, achieving the highest grade possible in both (A* and A respectively). I studied mathematics at A-level/Pre-U, achieving a D1/A*, and studied further mathematics at A-level/Pre-U achieving a D3/A. Graduated in 2022 from University of Cambridge with a 2.1 grade in biological and biomedical sciences, and am currently continuing my studies as a medical student.

I teach mathematics in an open, friendly and approachable way. I believe in teaching using plenty of examples, and using a logical, easy-to-follow methodology. I believe in teaching a rational way of thinking that will make it more likely for a student to learn how and why to get to an answer rather than just rote-learning without meaning. I believe in trying to maximise time efficiency by focusing on what the student feels is their weakest topic and starting each lesson by addressing any questions the pupil may have.
