Lessons in school have a set curriculum and path that doesn't always cater to individual needs, and I seek to prevent the boredom or frustration that often arises from this with my lessons! Adapting lessons on the fly to best fit the students' needs is necessary as a tutor, and is something I am very comfortable with. I know when to push a student past simpler content that no longer engages them, but also when to pull back and shore up gaps in knowledge to help them progress.
