About Antonio
I research and teach History and Politics at the University of Cambridge, where I am working on a PhD in History of Political Thought. I have nearly a decade of experience teaching History and Politics, as well as a First Class degree, and a Masters degree from Cambridge. Before that, I got 4A* at A-level.
In private tutoring of school-aged pupils, I have a track record of success across the major exam boards: Edexcel, OCR, AQA, Cambridge, etc. My GCSE students consistently get 8s-9s, and my A-Level students typically achieve A-A*.
With university students, I specialise in turning mid-range grades into High 2:1s and Firsts (for undergraduates) and Distinctions (for postgraduates). I can tutor in-depth and offer essay feedback in most areas of History, Politics, International Relations and related subjects.

Antonio was my tutor at the University of Cambridge, where he taught a class on international political organisations. It is rare to come across a professor who is both academically brilliant and extremely affable. Not only did I enjoy his classes at Cambridge, but I have also come back to him for advice over the years, which is a testament both to his teaching and his character. I would recommend Antonio as a tutor to anyone looking for a personable and highly dedicated tutor.
My niece had an excellent experience with Antonio. He was calm, patient, knowledgeable, very professional. Fabulous, really. Thank you for everything.
I first met Antonio through a colleague who recommended him as the person to go to for media training. I had a couple of sessions with him with the aim of preparing for a business event back in Sweden which I was somewhat stressed about, as I was meant to be giving a speech in front of a live audience. The experience with Antonio was fantastic, both in terms of his public speaking expertise (he is a former TV presenter and really knows his stuff) and the level of empathy and attention he brought to the sessions. I have no issues in offering my highest recommendation.
Antonio is the real deal. Initially I hesitated about hiring him because he was a bit more expensive than other tutors out there, but I have to say it was worth it.
