About Alanna
Holding a BMus Composition degree from the University of Melbourne means I spent years deconstructing how music connects with an audience. Talent is actually the result of persistent editing rather than a sudden lightning bolt of inspiration.
After 7 years in music production and songwriting, my focus is simple: get you creating real music from day one. I break the process into small wins so finishing never feels overwhelming.
I have mentored over 120 students ranging from beginners to working musicians and career switchers. It is fascinating to watch how different perspectives shape a song through deliberate rhyme schemes and intentional song structure. By the end, you will have finished music you are genuinely proud of. How do you plan to share your voice with the world?

Personalization is less about guessing what you want and more about stripping away what you do not need. A song often reaches its full potential only after you decide to cut the parts you thought were essential. We focus on melody writing, point of view, and the constant cycle of rewriting to turn a vague concept into a finished piece. Working musicians and content creators find that this process builds genuine confidence.
My BMus training informs how we approach your specific artistic goals. Since I have spent 7 years refining these techniques, we can move quickly through the hurdles of writing to a brief. We finish a complete song together during our time. Music is meant to be shared, and I find that the most enjoyable part of the journey is hearing your final mix.
