About Josh
I'm Josh, a Music graduate from Newcastle University (soon to take on a masters at KCL) and A*-achieving A-Level English Literature student from Woking. I have helped many people succeed in English and am also a guitar/music tutor.
My passion in life is the arts, whether literary or otherwise. My main thing really is music - my band is my home, and I play two instruments as often as I can! I'm also a Crystal Palace fan and an animal lover.
But enough about me - I would love to work with, and hear all about, you if you decide to take lessons with me :)

If there's one thing which ruins the reputation of English, it's wading through long, boring books to find and over-analyse ancient quotes.
I don't believe in any of that. English can be a fascinating insight into so many areas of life, and my lessons are designed to be as fun, engaging and interesting as possible.
Instead of trying to cram literary techniques into your head, we can play games to help you learn them. Instead of writing long essays, we can plan them in creative ways. My students always enjoy themselves and succeed with flying colours, and I'd be delighted if you were the next! :)
