About Sophie
Hi! I'm Sophie and I have been an online tutor for just over 2 years now. I teach a range of different ages English and I really enjoy seeing my students confidence increase during their time with me. I have a degree from Lancaster University which is a top 10 university in the UK. I also have my TEFL certification. I speak English very clearly, I have a clear English tone and neutral English accent which makes it easy for students to understand me and learn from me. My hobby is travelling, I have travelled to many countries including Indonesia, Australia and the USA - next I would like to visit China.

I love to see the smiles on peoples faces when they finally get something right and I know it's because I was patient with them, pushed them out of their comfort zone and increased their confidence. Seeing my students proud of themselves, in turn, makes me proud of myself. I am able to work with even the most complicated of students, and really bring them out of their shell and make their learning experience enjoyable, I do this by using a range of different techniques and mixing them up each time to suit the students needs and learning styles. No lesson is ever the same as another, as no student is the same as another student and I make sure I cater to the students needs every time.
