About Josh
One of my core strengths is my ability to build rapport with my students. This was honed in me as a young man, as "people do not care how much you know until they know how much you care." For myself, I try to appeal to all students and provide specific feedback based on what the student is ready for. You typically would not teach a 5-year-old algebra, but you might start with basic addition. In my previous classroom settings, I noted students of all sorts of abilities and aptitudes for English. In the year worked at Chungdam, April, in South Korea; I created a positive and motivating learning environment. I have a unique talent for customizing curriculum to meet each student's individual needs. One time I even rapped out a learning point using a popular BTS rhythm to help a child grasp a concept.
