About Brandon
Hi, I'm Brandon a full-time educator and the founder of an online school. I support English learners across the senior phase and FET band.
I've spent years working directly in the CAPS system, not just teaching it, but building curriculum content, study guides, and exam-aligned resources used by learners across the country. This means I don't just know the subject matter; I know exactly how the DBE structures, marks, and examines it, and I teach with that end goal in mind from the very first lesson.
What I bring is hands-on, high-volume teaching experience: I run a functioning school, teaching daily, and have built a large online following by helping learners understand concepts they were previously stuck on. My results come from consistent classroom practice and a deep, practical understanding of the syllabus.

I believe every learner can master English with the right structure and consistent practice, not through generic worksheets, but through lessons built around the actual CAPS assessment framework learners are marked against. As the founder of an online school and full-time educator, I bring a curriculum-first approach: every lesson is mapped to what's actually being tested in class tests, exams, and the NSC, so time spent with me translates directly into marks gained.
What sets my teaching apart is that I don't just help you get through the next essay or comprehension, I build the underlying skill (structure, argument, vocabulary, exam technique) so it compounds across every future assessment.
I teach in English, and can also support Afrikaans First Additional Language learners who need concepts explained in a mix of both languages.
Lessons are focused and interactive, not passive. Depending on what you need, a session might include: breaking down a set text or poem, working through comprehension technique step-by-step, structuring and drafting essays or transactional pieces, or targeted exam preparation with past papers and mark-scheme-aligned feedback. I always tie feedback back to how CAPS actually awards marks, so you know exactly what's costing you points and how to fix it.
My lessons are aimed at Grade 8–12 learners on the CAPS curriculum, particularly those preparing for Matric finals who want exam-focused, results-driven support rather than general reading practice. They also suit learners who are capable but underperforming due to weak essay structure or exam technique rather than a lack of understanding.
