About Alison
Having personally struggled to learn effectively in a traditional classroom environment, I had to spend lots of my own time studying and managed to achieve 10 A*s.
This experience has given me both the resilience and insight to support students who may also find it challenging to absorb everything taught in class.

The format of my teaching will be tailored for every student but generally I will go through one topic per lesson by running through the theory and then doing exam practice questions. My experience is in tutoring 14-16 year olds preparing for GCSEs and my lessons are one hour long. I have taken students on D grades up to A grades and pride myself in personalised and engaging teaching.
