About Jacob
Hi, I'm Jacob. I'm a finance postgraduate who has gone through the application process for finance, consulting, and ESG roles several times, across asset management, Big Four advisory, insurance, and markets programmes. I know how tough these processes can feel, especially when you're unsure what recruiters actually want to see.
I enjoy coaching because clear structure and confidence can transform an application. My approach is friendly, honest, and practical: I'll give you direct feedback, help you tell your story clearly, and make sure you feel prepared on the day. I'm currently studying for a double-degree MSc at EDHEC and Mines Paris PSL, so I'm close to the process myself.

I help students prepare for competitive applications in finance, consulting, and ESG or sustainable finance. I'm a First Class graduate in Global Sustainable Development with Economic Studies from Warwick, and I've worked in infrastructure debt at a global asset manager. I've also gained experience across Big Four deals advisory and strategy, insurance underwriting and broking. I'm now completing a double-degree MSc in Climate Change and Sustainable Finance at EDHEC and Mines Paris PSL.
Sessions are one-to-one and last 45 to 60 minutes. Depending on your needs, we can work on your CV and cover letters, practise mock interviews (motivation, competency, and technical questions), or build your commercial awareness and market knowledge. Every session ends with clear written feedback, strengths, gaps, and next steps, so you know exactly what to improve.
Ideal for undergraduates, postgraduates, and career changers applying for internships, graduate schemes, and entry-level roles. Online sessions are available across the UK and Europe.
