• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  My interest in career development and personal transformation came from my own journey. I began my career in the IT industry and later moved into education, where I had the opportunity to work closely with students and professionals at different stages of their careers. I noticed that many capable individuals were not limited by a lack of talent, but by uncertainty, self doubt, or the inability to see the possibilities available to them.
  
  This sparked my curiosity about human potential, career psychology, and coaching. Over the years, I pursued certifications in career counselling, life coaching, mindfulness, and NLP. Today, I combine practical career strategies with transformational coaching to help people make informed career decisions and grow with confidence.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach and why?

  For me, teaching is about creating possibilities. Every learner comes with unique experiences, strengths, and aspirations. Being able to guide someone towards greater clarity and confidence is deeply meaningful.
  
  I have been fortunate to learn from many mentors, teachers, and coaches who shaped my thinking. Their belief in continuous learning inspired me to become someone who can do the same for others. The greatest motivation is seeing someone discover their own potential and take action towards a future they once thought was out of reach.

• How does your work help society?

  Work occupies a significant part of our lives, and when people feel fulfilled in their careers, the positive effect extends beyond the workplace. They become more confident, make better decisions, build healthier relationships, and contribute more meaningfully to their families, communities, and organizations.
  
  Through career coaching, leadership development, and learning programs, I aim to help individuals make thoughtful career choices and equip organizations with capable, future ready professionals. When people grow, workplaces improve, and society benefits from more engaged and responsible individuals.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of and why?

  Rather than a single individual, I draw inspiration from educators and coaches who believe that learning should transform lives, not just transfer knowledge.
  
  If I had to name one person, it would be Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. His humility, lifelong commitment to learning, and belief in empowering young minds continue to inspire me. He showed that education is not simply about building careers, it is about building character, confidence, and a vision for the future.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  I enjoy spending time in nature, travelling to new places, and exploring street photography. Photography allows me to observe people and moments with greater awareness, while travelling broadens my perspective and helps me appreciate different cultures.
  
  I also practice mindfulness and meditation regularly, which help me stay grounded and present. Reading about psychology, leadership, and human behaviour is another interest that continues to shape both my personal and professional growth.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  One experience that has stayed with me involved a professional who came to me feeling completely stuck. Despite having strong qualifications and years of experience, they had lost confidence after facing repeated setbacks during their job search.
  
  Our sessions were not only about resumes or interview preparation. We worked on rebuilding self belief, identifying strengths, and creating a clear career strategy. A few months later, they secured a role that aligned with both their skills and aspirations.
  
  What I remember most was not the job offer itself, but what they said afterwards: "I didn't just find a new job. I found myself again."
  
  Moments like these remind me that education and coaching are not only about knowledge. They are about helping people believe in themselves and move forward with confidence.
