About Wren
Hi, I'm Wren! I hold a Bachelor of Science in Physics Education (B.S.) from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio — a highly respected research university with a strong physics program and deep aerospace industry connections. I have 5 years teaching physics to K-12 and college entry-level students through online one-on-one sessions. My "mission physics" method was inspired by watching a SpaceX Falcon 9 landing and realizing every single physics concept I teach was visibly at work in those four minutes of footage. Students who learn physics through real space missions develop genuine excitement for the subject that carries them effortlessly through even the most challenging exam material. I have supported students through AP Physics 1, 2, and C with strong results. I was awarded the Physics Education Innovation Award by Case Western's College of Arts and Sciences for my mission-based teaching methodology. When physics launches rockets and lands them back on drone ships — it is impossible not to find it absolutely thrilling.
