About Matthias
I'm Matthias Bär, I'm 19 years old and I've been playing the cello since I was five. I soon realized that I had found my great passion. I now consider myself lucky to be studying with Prof. Jean Guihen Queyras at the Musikhochschule Freiburg. Now I would like to pass on my joy in playing the cello

I am open to students of all levels. I design my lessons individually, according to the respective interests and needs. The focus is always on conveying the joy of playing the cello. My experiences as a soloist, in chamber music and as a teacher help me with this.
