About Joshua
I am an active member of the educational and artistic community. I am an author, illustrator, comedian, and voice actor. I am the President of a local Toastmaster club. I mentor several club members in their leadership skills. I have been developing my skills as an online, ESL educator with Ehello, Yuka English, Oxford English, and VIP Kid during my time studying for my MSED in Early Childhood Education. I have classroom experience from my time in Nanjing, China.

My lessons encourage the development of receptive and productive English skills. I facilitate reading, writing, and listening comprehension exercises for gist and detail.
I cultivate comprehension using Bloom's taxonomy-informed question stems in a way that simply feels like a lively, warm-spirited, student-led conversation. For my young students, I've designed a collection of original puppet characters and apply my experience as an international comedian and voice actor to amplify the smiles and laughter.
