About Harrison

I'm a dedicated and passionate English teacher with a deep love for languages, travel, and cultural exchange. I have been lucky enough to travel extensively through South America and Europe, giving me a broad perspective on diverse ways of life and the role language plays in connecting people. With an A2 level in Spanish, I understand the challenges of learning a new language, which allows me to create supportive, empathetic, and engaging lessons. I strive to make learning fun, practical, and tailored to each student's unique needs. About the lesson

In my English language lessons, I focus on creating a dynamic, student-oriented environment that fosters effective communication and language skills development. My teaching methodology combines task-based learning, interactive conversation practice, and a strong focus on real-world language use. By incorporating authentic materials and practical examples, I help students build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I also tailor each lesson to the individual needs of the student, ensuring a personalised approach that addresses specific goals and challenges.
Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, but I offer flexibility to meet students' schedules and learning preferences. Whether students prefer shorter or longer sessions, the goal is to provide an engaging and immersive experience.
I hold a CELTA qualification, which is internationally recognised for teaching English to non-native speakers, and I have a first-class degree in Geography. My experience includes over 120 hours of CELTA training with over 50 hours of GCSE Geography and History tutoring online.
These lessons are ideal for adult learners and young adults at all levels—whether you’re a beginner seeking foundational knowledge or an advanced learner looking to fine-tune your English.
