About Elli
Hi, I’m Elli! I studied Law at university and went on to practise as a lawyer for six years. During that time, I discovered how much I enjoyed working with people, explaining ideas clearly, and supporting others. This led me into proofreading and, eventually, to where I am now – teaching English. I recently completed my CELTA qualification, and I’ve loved every moment of teaching so far. I enjoy creating lessons that are practical, engaging, and fun, helping students build confidence step by step. For me, teaching English isn’t just about grammar or vocabulary – it’s about connecting with people from around the world and giving them tools to achieve their goals.

Friendly English Tutor – Learn with Confidence! Hi, I’m Elli, a CELTA-qualified English tutor. My lessons are relaxed, supportive, and tailored to you. I like to use lots of speaking practice, real-life materials, and interactive activities so you feel confident using English in everyday situations. Most lessons are around an hour, but I can be flexible depending on what you need. I’ve taught adult learners at different levels (pre-intermediate to upper-intermediate), helping students improve their grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation while having fun along the way. Whether you want to travel, study, work, or simply chat more confidently in English, I’ll design lessons that fit your goals. Let’s make learning English enjoyable together!
