About Molly
Hello there! My name is Molly, and this is my application to become your next English teacher!
I have a passion for people; I always have, and I always will! Teaching allows me to fulfil this passion by meaningfully supporting others. For me, learning a language is about so much more than grammar rules and vocabulary lists; it is about giving people the confidence to express themselves, connect with others and share their own stories. I love seeing students grow in confidence and realise that they are capable of more than they first thought.
I am naturally curious and have always loved learning about the world around me. I love travelling, and I have had the opportunity to live and work in Italy and study in Portugal, experiences that strengthened my love for different cultures, languages and perspectives. One of my favourite things about teaching is learning from my students too. Hearing about your country, your culture, your interests and the things you are passionate about is something I genuinely enjoy, and it also creates the perfect opportunity to make our lessons more personal and engaging.
I am a Pass A CELTA-qualified English teacher with experience teaching children, teenagers and adults both in the UK and internationally. I have taught students from beginner to advanced levels through one-to-one lessons, small groups and classroom teaching, always adapting my approach to suit each learner's individual needs and goals.
I hold a First-Class Honours degree in English Literature and will soon begin an MSc in Speech and Language Therapy, reflecting my continued interest in communication, language development and helping people reach their potential.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy photography, creative projects, travelling and discovering new things. I believe curiosity is one of the best ways to learn, and I love bringing that same enthusiasm into my lessons.
I aim to create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and celebrating their progress. I know it is easy to be hard on yourself when learning a new language, especially when you make small grammar mistakes, but I always remind my students that accuracy is only one part of communication. Fluency and confidence are just as important, and together we will work on developing both.
I would love the opportunity to support you on your English learning journey and help you become a more confident communicator.

I believe that lessons should be collaborative and that the time we spend together is about far more than simply learning English. It is about building confidence, developing communication skills and creating a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and expressing themselves without fear of judgement.
Speaking practice should feel as natural as possible, mirroring real-life conversations rather than scripted dialogues. I teach children, teenagers and adults of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. I encourage students to use English from the very beginning, adapting every lesson to their individual goals, interests and learning style.
Whether you're learning English for school, work, travel, exams or simply to become a more confident speaker, lessons are designed around what works best for you. I also enjoy using authentic materials and topics that genuinely interest my students because I believe language is remembered much more easily when learning is meaningful and enjoyable.
I am a Pass A CELTA-qualified English teacher with experience teaching children, teenagers and adults both in the UK and internationally. I have taught learners from beginner to advanced level in one-to-one lessons, small groups and classroom settings.
Alongside my teaching experience, I hold a First-Class Honours degree in English Literature and will soon begin an MSc in Speech and Language Therapy, further developing my understanding of communication, language development and individual learning needs.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although I am happy to offer 30, 45 or 90-minute sessions depending on your preferences and goals. During our first lesson, we'll discuss your current level and objectives before creating a personalised learning plan focused on your goals, whether that's improving your speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, pronunciation or overall confidence.
Above all, my goal is for every student to leave each lesson feeling proud of the progress they are making and able to recognise how much they have achieved. I want every lesson to leave you with something tangible, whether that's being able to correct your own mistakes independently, confidently explain a new grammar point, use new vocabulary in conversation, or simply realise that you've just spent an hour understanding and communicating in a language that once felt unfamiliar.
When students feel supported and enjoy the learning process, they are more willing to take risks, ask questions and challenge themselves. Seeing my students grow in confidence and achieve goals they once thought were out of reach is the most rewarding part of teaching. If my students are thriving, then I know I have done my job well.
