About Silvia
I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Linguistics and a TESL Diploma from the University of British Columbia. I have been teaching ESL to adults for over 20 years in both private and classroom settings in the Lower Mainland and I have experience teaching online as well. I am fluent in Italian and offer lessons in beginner to intermediate Italian.

My teaching method is student-centered. I plan my lessons to suit the needs of my students and I ensure my students have many opportunities to speak and practice English during the lesson. I also teach about Canadian customs and culture in every lesson. In addition, I offer beginner to intermediate lessons in Italian. Whether you want to learn Italian for travel, business, or general interest, I can help!
