About Stacie
I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Reading. I have enjoyed teaching students from prekindergarten through high school to learn to read, develop as a reader, increase comprehension, and love reading. Teaching reading is my passion.

I have taught reading for over twenty years. I am passionate about teaching students to become better readers, love reading, and think about what they are reading. I tutor many students and they are all improving.
In my first session with a student, I spend time getting to know them and showing them that tutoring is going to be fun. Also, without them even realizing it, I will evaluate where they are, what strengths they have, and identify opportunities for growth. My students leave our first session feeling more confident and I leave with all the information I need to come up with a plan that will help them soar.
