About Klára
After two decades of competing and more than a decade of teaching in chess I aquired recently a BSC degree in chess coaching at University of Physical Education in Budapest. With grewing up in the community provdided in international tournaments I not only understand what it takes to be a better player, but also have a broad understanding of the qualities that are essential beside the knowledge in chess.
As per achievements, I hold a Woman International Master title, became Hungarian National Youth Champion in many different categories. Finished on shared 3rd-5th place in the World Youth Championship Maribor 2012, and also holding a golden medal in both blitz and rapid European Youth Championships. Recently became a bronze medalist in the Hungarian Women Championship, and have been many times the member and first board player of the Hungarian National Team in Mitropa Cups.
Nowadays I spend my days mostly with teaching chess and arbitring in international tournaments, such as the Sunway Sitges Chess Festival.

Middlegame and endgame focused approach instead of relying solely on opening theory or engines - while we emerge in these important fields, we are also looking for the typical mistakes that have been made by each student. I firmly believe that not it is inevitable to play without errors, but it is a necessity since it helps us to determine our weaknesses and how to improve them.
My lessons are open for every age group - up until 1800 FIDE rating points I can provide best the methods on becoming a better chess player.
