• When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

  I have been good with numbers since the time i remember. During the career assessment, Accounting was suggested to me and when I explored it, it was no looking back. I connect a lot with people and have been teaching my friends Maths and Accounting and private tutoring was easy to pivot into.

• Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

  I love teaching accounting be in Financial or Managerial, i also love Auditing and Finance too and can help students understand topics more clearly because i have more practical experience in these subjects. Economics and Taxes I only have theoretical knowledge so can not explain with examples from the industry.

• Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  There are few teachers who have been my role model. First was my Math teacher in my school. Another is who taught me the basics of Accounting in College and another was my Tutor from where I completed my Chartered Accountancy and CPA course.

• What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

  I think the main quality to be a good tutor is to understand the requirements of the student and also explaining and breaking down things in the manner that students understand

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  My teachers have also motivated me by using different quotes to help us study and i wish do help students too by making accounting fun and easy

• What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

  Practical application. I think many of us during our days at school feel that in order to be ready for the exam, we need to "learn: and remember everything to successfully pass the exam. I try to approach Finance and Accounting in a very practical way, one that helps me understand the material at a very rudimentary level. I have found that my style of teaching this way has helped unlock mental blocks for a lot of my students and helped them ace their exams.

• Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

  I am very much passionate about teaching and when I am able to connect with the students and can help them understand their topic.

• What makes you a Superprof (besides answering this interview questions :-P)? .

  I take immense pleasure in teaching and connecting with my students. I believe if i can help the students in any way it makes my day
