About Elizabeth
As a 17-year-old student with a deep passion for the French language, I have been immersed in learning French since childhood. My dedication and hard work paid off when I successfully passed the DELF B2 exam, certifying my proficiency as a francophone. This achievement not only reflects my linguistic skills but also my commitment to mastering the language. Teaching Experiences and Qualifications Since the age of 12, I have had the opportunity to work with children, conducting art classes and teaching them art. This early teaching experience has honed my interpersonal skills and deepened my understanding of how to effectively communicate complex ideas, especially to children. Additionally, I have participated in language workshops and cultural exchange programs, which have enriched my knowledge and appreciation of French culture. Standing Out What sets me apart is my continuous pursuit of excellence in French. I have attended numerous language competitions, including one at UofT, which I won second place in, and engaged in intensive study sessions, which have significantly enhanced my fluency. Furthermore, I am an active member of a French-speaking class where we discuss literature, watch French films, and practice conversational skills. These activities have not only improved my language proficiency but also provided me with a broader cultural perspective.
