I am a certified English Language Arts teacher with a passion for helping students who absolutely HATE ELA learn to thrive in ELA, maybe even begin to LIKE ELA (it really can happen!). I have extensive experience working with students with dyslexia, various learning disabilities, gifted students, test prep, reading resistant students, writing resistant students, students with ADHD, and students with autism.

I also have a Masters of Arts in Teaching with a specialist in Behavior and Learning Disorders (grades k-12) from Georgia State University.
My passion is reading and writing literacy. I love seeing struggling readers find joy in reading, and I love helping students find their voice through writing. Learning truly can be fun, and my goal is to help each student find joy and fun in the process.
