About Khatrina
My love for teaching ranges from Early Childhood Education to Childhood Education. I have a strong passion for helping children learn and become responsible and knowledgeable individuals. Throughout the course of my career, I have learned many different strategies to accommodate all of those who may be in my classroom, and I am still learning. I’ve been given opportunities to work with the upper grades as well as the lower grades. As a result, I have become more proficient at designing creative and invigorating lesson plans to accommodate various grades. Also, I was able to see the difference between grades. My greatest strengths include being creative and inspiring children to want to learn. I engage them by incorporating things of their interest and using a variety of manipulatives. In addition, I have learned to differentiate to help accommodate the students who may need extra help while keeping everyone’s interest. I enjoy connecting the classroom to everyday life so that students understand better. Furthermore, I am available to parents on a regular basis to help reinforce the education their children obtain at school and home as well. I believe this helps parents feel more connected to their child and their education.
