About Olivia

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a Language Arts concentration in April 2025. While I have one year of full-time teaching experience, I have spent the past three years working in a variety of classroom settings, gaining valuable experience supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Helping young people learn and grow is my passion. I am committed to supporting each student's academic success while fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment. As an educator, I believe that students thrive when they feel supported, capable, and confident. In one-on-one tutoring sessions, my goal is not only to strengthen students' understanding of academic content but also to build their confidence as independent learners.

I am particularly interested in the many ways students learn and process information. Because every child is unique, I strive to personalize my lessons and instructional strategies to match each student's individual learning style, strengths, and needs. By tailoring instruction to the learner, I can create engaging and effective lessons that help students reach their full potential.

I am a certified elementary school teacher with classroom experience and a passion for helping students build confidence and succeed academically. Throughout the summer, I provide engaging, individualized instruction designed to keep students learning, growing, and prepared for the upcoming school year.

My primary areas of expertise are elementary mathematics and English Language Arts (ELA). I am also happy to support students in other subject areas with advanced preparation. Lessons are tailored to each student's unique needs, learning style, and academic goals.

Tutoring is available for upper elementary students in grades 3–5 who would benefit from enrichment, skill-building, or extra support over the summer.

I strongly believe that small-group and one-on-one teaching can have a significant impact on a student's success. With larger class sizes becoming more common, personalized instruction gives students the opportunity to receive focused attention and learn in a way that best suits their individual needs and learning style.
