About Joanna
I am a young and energetic English teacher with considerable experience. I graduated from the University College of English Language Teacher Education with very good grades and a distinguished bachelor thesis. Immediately after graduation, I started working with schoolchildren, students and adults. Business language focused on vocabulary and communication became my domain. In 2015, I went to London to deepen my knowledge of language and culture at the source. In addition to teaching and translations, I also worked in various industries and in various positions. The experience I have gained while living in the heart of Great Britain for 5 years, and the passion that I had in me since I was a child, I want to spread to my students all over the world.

My lessons are interesting, varied and focused on speaking and communication. I conduct classes entirely in English and I encourage students not to use their native language, because this is the best and fastest way to learn. I mainly use the lexical method, based on learning and repeating vocabulary, looking for synonyms and the meaning of expressions from the context. Sometimes I use business or specialist textbooks, but most of all I prepare lessons from beginning to end by myself, based on the so-called "authentic materials", i.e. British newspapers, videos, podcasts and other educational sources used by native speakers on a daily basis.
