About Elena
A few facts about me:
- I hold a Master’s degree in ESL (English as a Second Language) Teaching;
- I have worked with adult students of all ages and levels, from A1 to C1;
- I have taught British pronunciation and phonetics, speech practice, analytical reading, and listening comprehension to university students;
- I’m a huge fan of TV shows (Grey’s Anatomy and Why Women Kill are my favourites);
- I have been to Linkin Park and Imagine Dragons concerts (Harry Styles and BTS are next!);
- I absolutely LOVE pastel !!!
- and most importantly: I truly care about my students and fully commit myself to their success.
When I was 7 years old, I used to pretend to be a teacher. Since then, I’ve dreamt of becoming one. As I grew older, my passion grew with me, along with my desire to help people, inspire them to learn, and share the love for knowledge that I’ve always had.

I offer tailored lessons including General English, British Pronunciation & Phonetics, Targeted Practice, and Business English.
My lessons can help you if:
- you want to improve your English but don’t know where to start;
- you need English for travelling, starting a new life abroad, or communicating with foreign colleagues and international clients;
- you freeze when you have to speak spontaneously in daily conversations;
- you can understand films and content on social media in English but can’t speak OR you can speak but struggle to understand;
- you want to improve your pronunciation: some sounds are hard for you, English stress and intonation confuse you, or you want to teach English and need accurate pronunciation yourself.

- you’ll speak from lesson 1: we focus on speaking and building the skills you need to communicate successfully;
- my lessons are fully designed around your goals, strengths and weaknesses, your hobbies and interests;
- I use a variety of materials, including videos, TV scenes, music, and articles, to keep things interesting and effective;
- I’ll give you personalised feedback on your homework and progress.
