About Leandra
I am an online English teacher. I have a 120-hour TESOL teaching certificate. In addition to teaching students online, I have in-person English tutoring experience as well (6 years worth). I grew up in a bi-lingual household, so I understand how difficult English can be to learn.

I like to make my online classes light and encouraging. When teaching children, I make the lesson fun to get them excited about learning. I make sure the student understands the meaning of the word(s) we are learning before moving on. I also focus on pronunciation and practice making the right movements with the mouth to create the right sound. I have experience with Latin American and Asian students and I understand their pronunciation struggles. I am able to explain proper pronunciation and fix a student's issue based on what error he or she is making.
