About Sonette
I am a certified ESL Teacher with 3 years experience -in class and -online. I started teaching online for Micro Language in 2018, teaching kids between the ages of 7 and 12 years old. December 2018, I relocated to Chengdu in China where I taught at a private language school. I had to plan my own lessons, do demo classes to sign my own students and on weekends I had STC classes for Marketing. ( Taking the students and their parents to the zoo or pottery classes to use phrases and words we have learnt.) In 2019 I relocated to Vietnam where I had a daily schedule, starting with the kindergarten kids in the morning, primary school kids around noon, teens and University students in the afternoon and finally ending my days with adults at the factories around Tinh Gia.

My teaching philosophy is to make the content I teach more relatable. I try to make each training session as interactive as possible. I believe that an interactive curriculum is more memorable. I use tactics such as role-playing and competitive quiz games.
