About Kimi
My name is Kimi, and I am a certified English teacher who has been teaching English as a second language for 5 years now! I've taught both in the US, at an American public school, and in an international school in Costa Rica. I am passionate about teaching languages and making my classes memorable and engaging. I also speak Spanish, so I know what it's like to learn another language! I love designing interactive classes that help my students become more confident and fluent in their second language.

My lessons will be based on your specific language needs. After getting a better idea of your level and language goals, I will make a plan for you to help improve your vocabulary, fluency, reading/listening comprehension, and writing! I also offer reading tutoring to K-5 learners to help improve their reading fluency and comprehension, with explicit instruction in phonics and decoding.
I offer classes to those who are just beginning to learn English, and those who are looking to improve their fluency or accent!
I am a certified teacher, in elementary education, English as a New Language (ESL), special education, and Spanish!
