About Jim
Hi, I'm Jim — a certified high school teacher with an Ivy League degree and years of tutoring experience. I hold a state teaching certification and have spent years in real classrooms helping students in grades 7-12 succeed in math, science, English, and test preparation.
Before teaching full-time, I earned my degree from an Ivy League university, where I built the strong academic foundation I now pass on to my students. My tutoring focuses on SAT math, GED prep, and all subjects for grades 7-12, delivered 100% online.
Students and parents choose me for my patient, structured approach and proven results: higher test scores, stronger grades, and real confidence. My first session is always a free diagnostic so we can build the right plan together.

I am a certified high school teacher with an Ivy League degree and years of tutoring experience, offering 100% online lessons for students in grades 7-12. I specialize in SAT math preparation and GED test prep, and I tutor all subjects across middle and high school, including algebra, geometry, science, English, and history.
My approach starts with a free first diagnostic session to identify each student's strengths, gaps, and goals. Every lesson then follows a clear plan: quick review, targeted instruction with step-by-step problem solving, guided practice, and a short recap with action steps. I break complex topics into simple, memorable strategies and use real practice questions so students build confidence fast.
What sets me apart is classroom-tested experience, patient one-on-one coaching, and a focus on measurable score gains. Lessons are fully virtual with screen sharing and interactive whiteboard tools, so students can learn from anywhere.
