I am a certified Kindergarten - 3rd grade teacher with a Masters of Education degree. I have been teaching for 11 years.

Carmen is an amazing teacher. I have known her for most of my life and am familiar with her skills. She consistently delivers clear lessons, reliably and ensures students know what to expect from her. She shows understanding and patience and ensures her grading is fair and effective. Carmen has been one of my educational mentors over the course of my life. When I was young I spent time mentoring with her and learned so much. Carmen’s teaching style focuses on a lot on the social emotional aspects of learning and showcases a passion for her students. Her care for her students as individuals is what makes her such a successful educator. I’m so thankful for my time I got to spend with her in the classroom.
