About Austin
I have the privilege of serving as the current head coach at the Lloydminster Boxing Club, situated on the border of Saskatchewan and Alberta.
With several years as a CABA certified coach, my comprehensive understanding of boxing stems from both my past experience as an amateur boxer and my dedication to coaching.
My educational background in Kinesiology, Nutrition, and Education from college and university has provided me with a solid foundation to support athletes effectively. I actively engage in the online coaching community, constantly seeking to learn and improve.
I have also authored a peer-reviewed thesis that provides empirical evidence supporting the efficacy of an Athlete Psychological Improvement program, which I developed. The research conclusively showcases the substantial improvement in results and achievements within a competitive environment attributable to this program.
I take immense pride in the accomplishments of the boxers I've had the privilege of coaching, from local competitions to international stages. Their achievements reflect not only their hard work but also the guidance and support provided within our training environment.

I'm a licensed boxing coach through the Canadian Amateur Boxing Association. With over 7 years experience, I have experience coaching everyone from first timers to seasons open class fighters.
With a specialization in the Canadian Style of boxing which focuses on technical proficiency, versatility, and an aggressive counter-punching style, I teach techniques and tactics with boxing matches in mind. Based in Lloydminster, I have coached as young as 6 years old, and as old as 75 years old.
A typical lesson will involve a guided warmup, followed by stretching and technical work. After the technical work, I show and drill how these techniques can be tactically used in various situations.
While many athletes prefer a typical lesson, many other boxers prefer atypical lessons such as 100% padwork, sparring guidance, or more. Of course, that is encouraged. If you know what you want to work on, that is what we will do.
Lessons "at my house" will be at Lloydminster Boxing Club.
