About Sidoney

As a certified online English tutor, I am committed to creating a professional, welcoming, and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable developing their English skills. I hold an 80-hour Teaching English Online (TEO) certification, which has provided me with training in effective methods for teaching English in an online setting.
I am also pursuing my Doctor of Pharmacy degree, an academically rigorous program that has strengthened my communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. My experience explaining detailed information to others has taught me the importance of patience, clarity, and adapting my communication style to the individual.
I understand that learning a new language can feel challenging, especially when speaking with others. My goal is to make each lesson encouraging and productive while maintaining a professional learning environment. Students can expect me to be prepared, patient, respectful, and attentive to their individual goals and progress.
Whether you are improving your English for everyday conversations, school, work, travel, or personal development, I will work with you to build your skills and confidence one lesson at a time. I look forward to helping you achieve your English-language goals!

About the lesson

My approach as an English tutor is supportive, patient, and personalized to each student’s goals. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable practicing, asking questions, and making mistakes without feeling judged.
I use a combination of conversation practice, vocabulary building, pronunciation, grammar, and real-life examples to help students develop practical English skills. Rather than using the same approach for everyone, I adjust my teaching style based on the student’s current level, interests, and learning goals.
A typical lesson begins with a brief conversation or review, followed by the main topic for the day. We may work on new vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, reading, or speaking skills and then use activities and conversation to practice what we have learned. I also provide corrections and feedback in an encouraging way so students understand how they can continue improving.
What sets me apart is my background in both education and healthcare. I am a certified online English teacher with an 80-hour Teaching English Online (TEO) certification and am currently completing my Doctor of Pharmacy degree. My academic experience has taught me how to communicate complex information clearly, stay patient, and adapt explanations when someone needs a different approach to understand a concept.
My lessons are suitable for beginner to intermediate English learners, including adults and students who want to improve their conversational English, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and overall confidence. I especially enjoy helping students who understand some English but want to feel more comfortable and natural when speaking in everyday situations.
