About Neo
I am a passionate piano tutor with 9 years of professional teaching experience, having successfully trained around 300 students. My learners include high school students, college students, and adults who come with different goals, whether academic, professional, or personal. Teaching piano has allowed me to guide students not only in music but also in building discipline and self-confidence.
My teaching philosophy focuses on strong foundations and steady progress. I believe that mastering the basics is essential for long-term success. I emphasise correct posture, hand position, finger strength, rhythm accuracy, scales, and sight-reading skills. I carefully explain each concept and ensure students practise correctly to avoid developing bad habits.
I create structured lesson plans with clear objectives for every session. Lessons include technical exercises, music theory understanding, and repertoire practice. I also teach students how to practise effectively at home so they can improve consistently.
Many of my students have performed confidently in recitals and school programmes, and several have achieved excellent results in graded music examinations. My goal is to create confident, disciplined, and expressive pianists who enjoy learning and continue growing in their musical journey.

piano teaching approach combines communication, creativity, flexibility, and structured development. I focus on building a strong technical base while encouraging artistic growth. I clearly demonstrate techniques and ensure students understand each step before moving forward.
Communication helps maintain motivation and steady progress. Creativity keeps lessons interesting and engaging through improvisation and expressive playing. Flexibility allows me to adjust the lesson plan based on student progress and goals.
Besides piano performance, I teach harmony, rhythm studies, music theory, and basic composition to strengthen overall musicianship. My goal is to guide students towards becoming confident, disciplined, and passionate pianists who enjoy music for life.
