About Alessandro
With more than 10 years of experience teaching saxophone to college students, I focus on creating lessons that are practical, engaging, and effective. My teaching style is flexible and student-focused, allowing learners to progress comfortably.
Lessons include tone development, breathing techniques, finger technique, rhythm practice, and expressive performance. I encourage creativity through improvisation and musical exploration. Real-world music examples help students connect theory with practice.
I use modern tools like recording feedback, guided practice plans, and play-along tracks to support steady improvement. Music theory, ear training, and sight-reading are also taught to build a complete musical foundation.
My goal is to help students enjoy saxophone learning while becoming confident and expressive musicians.

My teaching methodology for Saxophone focuses on long-term musical growth through clarity, creativity, and discipline. I begin by building strong fundamentals such as correct posture, breathing techniques, embouchure control, finger movement, tone balance, and rhythm accuracy. Lessons are explained in simple language and practised using musical examples.
Creativity is included by encouraging students to explore sound, learn popular melodies, and try basic improvisation. As a mentor, I provide motivation, patience, and honest feedback to help students stay committed.
Critical thinking is developed by teaching students to understand musical structure, rhythm patterns, and scale relationships. Accountability is maintained through clear practice goals, regular feedback, and progress tracking. Along with Saxophone, I also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Rhythm Practice, and Performance Basics.
