About Jennifer
I graduated college almost 20 years ago summa cum laude with my B.A. in Education certified to teach Kindergarten through 8th grade and enjoyed the years I spent doing so, but I decided after having my own children to shift my focus to educating them at home. I've taught my three children all subjects at home for the past 13 years with my oldest currently taking 11th grade courses. I'm confident in my ability to be an effective and fun teacher, and my children are evidence of this as they 've scored highly on standardized testing.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, cooking, playing music, graphic design, and eating pizza and watching movies with my family!

Hello! My name is Jen, and because of my varied experience teaching students at all ages both in a classroom setting and also at home, I bring a unique approach to tutoring. My methods vary to meet my students where they are in their learning and are rooted in solidifying strong foundational knowledge in each subject I tutor. You can expect support with completing the work that has been assigned in class as well as practicing background skills and knowledge to make sure understanding is achieved.
